I ordered this cool book. I found it on some other blog and honestly I can't remember what blog. It is a great book with tons of ideas for modern quilting.
I like making log cabin blocks and it seems like I am in sort of a black and white period.
I made this little star the other day. My aunt is really into 9 patches and stars are a great combination for 9 patches.
A few crazy 9 patches with stars.
One more thing, when I got back from my first major quilt workshop with Gwen Marston I was so excited to be part of a guild. There were several groups there from guilds and they had such a good time together. I have been trying since then to find a group and have not found one where I feel comfortable with my liberated style. At Cottonfields I talked to Lori about starting a group and she was very excited. She doesn't waste any time. We are meeting for the first time on Monday!! I could not be more thrilled.

What fun to have the grandsons....and love your blocks...
I decided to post my liberated top that I have been working on.. because it fit with the letter I needed to do for my A-Z challenge.
I love the crafty club I go to. It's so much fun sitting around and chatting and doing crafty stuff. I hope you have lots of fun with yours!
