Adventure

I can say that this week has not been what I expected. We are all dealing with my aunt's death. Thanks so much for all the thoughtful comments. My mother's primary caregiver had a stroke yesterday! I am hopeful that she will recover but she won't be able to come back to work for us. She had been my lifeline for the last 6 months. Now what?

On a much lighter note and very exciting, my aunt found a workshop with Freddy and Gwen in Texas in March! She called and asked would I be interested! Would I be interested!!! OH YES!! So we signed up and are very excited to be going.

Anybody ever heard of these folks? Or been to any of their workshops.

condolences on your loss. I'd read about that retreat and considered it, but I just don't think I can make it this next year. I bet you will have a blast!!!

Gwen and Freddy are on top of my "want to take a workshp"-list.
I hope you will find a replacement to help take care of your mom soon.

Sounds like you have had a tough week - my thoughts are with you. Life can sure be challenging.

But how cool that you are going to a workshop with Gwen & Freedy??! That'll be awesome! (And I'm a little jealous) We expect lots of pix and info, you know!

As a wise, fellow blogger told me recently ~ as you ride this unpredictable rollercoaster, be sure to hold on tight and breathe deeply when you can so you're ready to scream on those fast downhill rushes ... you and your family continue in my prayers!

Very happy for you that you have the workshop on your calendar ... and may the other details sort themselves out so that you can go and lose yourself in those moments!!!

Now, if anything was meant to be that retreat with Gwen AND Freddy was!

I assume you are talking about Quilting Adventures and not the ladies themselves.

Gwen and Freddy? Their book is not even with all the others. It is right beside my sewing machine. How great to go to class!
